Thanks to Sid Vicars for most of the following tidbits.
KARC member David Davis has been busy at his home garage. Whilst running his full time family business, David has managed to purchase a 2 post lift, install it himself, open up his ceiling, also done by him. During all his spare time, David purchased a 5.3 liter LS type engine, converted the injection engine to a carburetor with MSD ignition, then install the 5.3 back in his 65 Nova while retaining his 4-speed. David says YouTube has been a big help.
November was a good month for Don Hughes. Les Lawson finished the red paint on Don's 38 Chevy 2 dr. sedan, just needs assembling! Also, Don's 40x28 garage has been up righted, and after several weather delays, his concrete was poured in late November.
Bruce Roberts swapped his Chrysler wagon's 9 inch Ford third member, looking for a more compatible ratio for the big wagon with over drive trans. Bruce has one tip for members contemplating the simple 30 minute job. Count your ring and pinion teeth, google the secret formula to get your ratio If ratio sounds good, then remove and replace third member.
