The Kingsport Antique and Rod Club held it's annual Wal-Mart
Cruise-In on Friday night May 25, 2007. This Cruise-In is held each year
on Memorial Day weekend. There is no entry fee but donations are accepted
to benefit Ronald McDonald House. Wal-Mart furnished a $100 gift card as
a Grand Prize which was won by a lucky participant. Over $1600 in
donations were received from participants and spectators. Wal-Mart
donated another $1000 and proceeds from concessions were also donated.
The total estimated donations totaled approximately $3000 for Ronald
McDonald House. There were an estimated 450 cars in attendance.
